Okay so these bad boys are just the best pre-workout snack! And they also go quite nicely with coconut ice cream… 😏 anyway they are really easy to make and only require four ingredients! (Pumpkin spice is optional but a great seasonal addition)
- 2 cups of medjool dates
- 1 cup pecans
- 2-3 tablespoons of raw cacao powder
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons of pumpkin spice (optional)
Begin by whizzing up all of the ingredients in the blender (personally I would mix together the nuts, spice, syrup and cacao first and then add the dates because it gets sticky). Then mix together until it becomes a squidgy dough substance.
Place into a tray and push down to make it appear smooth and brownie-like. Leave in the fridge for an hour and you’re good to go!
