LuLa Smoothie Bowls

“Time flies like an arrow – but fruit flies like a banana.”

To celebrate the end of the chocolate festivities these four smoothie bowls will help you ‘detox like a diamond’.

Simply mix together the fruit and granola in a blender until thick and yummy. The quantity of ingredients will vary amongst bowls – add at your own preference.

Hula (top left)
This mix of tropical fruit is zesty and perfect for a refreshing start to the day.

  • 1 Dragon Fruit (can substitute with passion fruit)
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Papaya
  • A handful of Raspberries
  • 50 ml Apple Juice
  • 1/2 Mango
  • Tsp Honey
  • 3 tbsp Gluten free Granola
  • 2 tbsp Coconut flakes

 

Bananarama (top right)
This super simple protein packed bowl is a great post workout treat at anytime of the day.

  • 2 tbsp Peanut butter
  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 1 Banana
  • 50ml Milk of your choice (almond, coconut, etc)
  • 3 tbsp Gluten free Granola

 

Popeye (bottom left)
This spinach based bowl is a perfect tasty detox.

  • A handful of Spinach
  • Tsp Ginger
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Orange
  • 3 slices of Pineapple
  • 1/2 Mango
  • 50ml Apple Juice
  • 3 tbsp Gluten free Granola

 

Liberty (bottom right)
Zesty and Sweet.

  • 1 Papaya
  • 1/2 Mango
  • 4 large Strawberries
  • 2 tbsp Sorbet
  • 1 Dragon Fruit / Passion Fruit
  • 3 slices of Pineapple
  • 50ml Apple Juice
  • 3 tbsp Gluten free Granola.
